SEWING LIVES

We are glad to introduce our drive to help empower women of the Shitalia village at Sandeshkhali Block-2 of the Sunderbans. Our plan is to provide sewing machines for the village women to make them self-sufficient in the long-run, specially after the Amphan-pandemic duo have hit the economy hard. Apart from providing the machine, sewing classes will also be conducted to impart necessary skills. However, for this initiative to be a success, we need your support.

The cost of each sewing machine is estimated at Rs 6500 (including transportation charges). We humbly request you to donate to this crowdfunding initiative. Your assistance will enable us to purchase sewing machines for the women at the Shitalia Maa Welfare Society. You may contribute indivudually as well as collectively through your organisation(on request, we would be happy to inscribe the name of the individual or the organisation upon the Sewing Machine).
